Someone just posted this on Facebook. When they did many started bashing Republicans for it. I know there are times when you see this stuff and you jump on the wagon and bash this or that group. I for one have said many times. If this is true we have a problem but it does not sound right. I go check it out sometimes. Other times I do not. But so many I know want to jump on the wagon. Just like the HANDS UP DON’T SHOOT lies. I know it is hard for some to allow the facts to over ride the bullshit and we know bullshit is great fertilizer for making thing grow. So if you have the courage to read this maybe you will learn something. Or you can do what so many do – dismiss it and continue your story line. So read if you want. Absorb some FACTS vs the BULLSHIT.
Just tired of the bullshit & lies these web pages spew. Then all these useful idiots who jump on the band wagon and say “that’s terrible” How can people life-like that” and the “republicans are to blame”. Maybe they should do these thing for a change: Watch Glenn Beck & The Blaze. And when they do they may learn some HISTORY. And I may add Glenn Beck himself has said many times “Don’t take my word for anything – do your own homework” and “Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear”. So before you read a post and go “HELL YEA – LET’s GO GET EM” (do your own homework)
I have been to Pikeville KY which is just a little piece east of Owsley, KY. I’ve been there in the 1980′ & 1990’s on a regular basis because we have a unit C-Co 478th Engineer Battalion in Pikeville, KY. I had to visit this unit often as part of the Battalion Maintenance Assistance Team. This is coal country. This area is lined with homes like this everywhere along with many high dollar homes. I’ve seen them. They have no intention of improving on them, moving away from the coal mines. They are a proud people. Thanks to our new coal regulation many of them have lost their jobs and yes are NOW on welfare. But “before the war on coal” many of these people were doing very well. Many drove nice vehicles and had some really nice home. Many liked their little shacks and never intended to improve them unless they fell down.
The area has been poor for the past 50 years for the hard-working coal miners. These people are fantastic wonderful people. But they have very little education, and their families have been working in the coal mines for hundreds of years and that is all they do and want to do. The area is, has been and most likely will always be poor. Most of them live on Mt Dew & McDonald’s and have rotted their teeth down to stubs. And yes it is 99 percent white because no black would ever live there. The unit in Pikeville had a black commander for a short time. Our HQ’s had to move him from the area. The state has a Democratic Gov now and I think KY has been democratic for a long time.
While I normally DO NOT comment on others posting I do happen to know a little about this area and Kentucky.
FACTS ARE: Kentucky has had 35 Democratic Governors.
The current Governor is Democrat (whom I voted for TWICE) and has been in office from 2007 to the current date.
We did have a Republican Gov from 2003 to 2007
Prior to this we had Democratic Governors for the state of Kentucky from 1947 to 2003
The Commonwealth of Kentucky from 1859 to 2016 has had 6 Republican Governors. All the rest have been Democrat. Don’t you hate it when FACTS get in the way of BULLSHIT.
