OK – The Chevy Volt commercial I just saw has got me puzzled. So see if you edumicated (I spelled it that way on purpose) people out there can help me with this. Am I correct or not in my calculations. They say the battery has been tested for 395,000 hours. Sooooo I divided 395,000 by 24 hours in a day and I came up with 16,458 days. (is that correct?) Then I divided 365 days per year into the 16,458 days and I came up with 45 years. (is that correct?) If so they have been testing this battery since 1967? Now maybe I am a little wary and/or cautious, but does this even sound right to you? I am not buying that claim. Are you?
